What's New in our Neck of the Woods

I have some pretty exciting news for all of you. Our new website, http://abbottsinninternational.com/ is up and looking fabulous. We got it from Yellow Book, and they have been very patient with the number of changes that have had to be made. We are now on the Internet map, so to speak. There is even a phone number attached to the site that you can call for readings, classes, and research. 1-888-611-7982 is the number to call if you want a reading, a class, or research done. We have books that aren’t in any public or school library. As you no doubt know, books on magick, Paganism or Witchcraft either don’t get into the library in the first place because of all those selfish short-sighted jesoids out there, or they get stolen and not replaced.

We used to not charge for research, but now we must, because of the economy. I can’t even tell you how much because certain networks I’ll be posting this to won’t let me ask for money unless I’m rich enough to buy a pro-membership. What kind of logic is that? If I were rich enough to buy a pro-membership in Blessed Be UK or Avalon, I wouldn’t need to ask for money, now would I? It’s just like when I wanted a wheelchair ramp put in but I couldn’t because I rent and I’d have to pay. These are just two of the many ways in which the poor are unfairly picked upon in this country. If they hate us so much, why don’t they just gun us all down? It would be far more merciful. The only way in which you get “equal protection under the law”, is if you have a high powered attorney to plead your case. Again, the rich have that and we poor don’t. That’s why the rich don’t get picked on, and the poor do. I’m white, so I don’t have any advocacy group either.

But I will give you a clue as to what we do charge. There are 32 emanations on the Qabalistic Tree of Life. If you’re curious, call us at the number given above, or at 916-455-2267. There are also our three ning networks, http://abbottsinn.ning.com/ , http://abbottsinn93.ning.com/, and http://abbottsinninternational.ning.com/. Coming soon will be: http://dragonslair.ning.com/ . http://abbottsinn.ning.com is up now, and it has music and live chat (which is so much better than dead chat, don’t you think?).

Most exciting of all, I think, is the book. The title has been changed from Tarot for You or Tarot for Pagans, to “The Ultimate Guide to the Tarot.” Those who contribute get to have their websites posted in the websites section of the book. Stephen will be writing it, but I, phonetic and spell-bat that I am, will be making sure that the grammar is readable and fairly correct, and that the spelling and punctuation are correct. I see this book as being like those compendia the old doctors used to write with all the stuff, the tricks of the trade, they’ve learned over the decades of their practices in them to pass on to the young physicians who were up and coming in their trade. Doc used to tell me about them. I don’t know whether he had one in his library or not. Stephen, who is a master of divination, will be putting into this book all he’s learned about the Tarot in the over 50 years of studying and working with the Tarot.

Also in the next couple weeks or so, our webmistress Julie Maahs will have our other site up and running. Can you see now why Stephen is all excited? Our constellation will be a pentagram, with the Dragon’s Lair Ning Network as the center of the star. She mostly does taxes, so what is holding her up is the clients she must see daily. Also her husband, Walter Rhoads, the artist, has a show coming up very soon, and she helps with that.
So head on over to http://abbottsinninternational.com/ and/or call 1-888-611-7982 or 916-455-2267 and find out more about all we have to offer. We'll be waiting for your call.
